Stand Firm — Encouragement for the daily walk of faith
From reading to studying the text.
Reading Plans
Make Bible reading a way of life
These plans are designed to cultivate a sustainable, lifelong reading habit. Each plan follows the same rhythm — choose, read, reflect, review — but with different intensity levels to match your season of life.
The goal isn't volume; it's showing up. Do this long enough that missing a day feels wrong, and you're ready for Standard.
Track A eases you in at 30–45 minutes.
Track Badds a fourth stream when you're ready for more. Move up when it feels like a default, not a discipline.
Five streams on Track A, six on Track B. For the reader who has built the habit and wants Scripture to be the foundation of the day, not just a part of it.
How it works
Four steps. Every week.
Every plan follows the same rhythm — choose, read, reflect, review. The only difference between plans is the number of streams.
- Choose your plan
Start with Mini — six weeks, two streams. Move to Standard or Intensive when the habit is solid, not before.
- Read daily
Each day, read one chapter per active stream. Mini takes 15–20 minutes. Intensive takes up to 90.
- Reflect on each chapter
Annotate as you go using SPECS or REAP — a question, an observation, a single sentence. Keep it light.
- Review on Saturday
Saturday is reflection day. Gather your week's notes and sit with them. No new reading — just review.
Food for thought
The problem isn't outside you — it's the heart you already carry within. But what you let in through your eyes and ears feeds what grows there. Guard your inputs. Just know that only God can deal with the root.
