What it is
Starter is six weeks. That's it. You read two chapters a day from two streams — the Gospels and the Psalms and Proverbs — and you do it every day until it becomes automatic.
The goal isn't to finish the Bible. The goal is to finish the day having read it. Everything else — depth, volume, speed — comes later. Starter is about proving to yourself that the habit is possible.
Your reading streams
Two streams. One chapter each.
Stream 1
Gospels
Matthew, then Mark
One chapter per day. You'll finish both in the six weeks.
Stream 2
Wisdom & Worship
Psalms and Proverbs, alternating daily
One day Psalms, next day Proverbs. Short chapters — good for morning reading.
The Gospels are the heart of the whole system. On every plan, at every level, you are always in the Gospels. In Starter you work through Matthew first, then Mark — and when you finish the plan, you pick up at Luke 1 on Standard A.
Psalms and Proverbs alternate daily. If you read Psalms today, you read Proverbs tomorrow. These are short chapters — rarely more than ten minutes — and they're well suited to morning reading or reflection before prayer.
Weekly rhythm
Saturday is always reflection day.
Choose the weekly rhythm that fits your life. You can change it as you go.
Mon – Fri
Saturday: reflect. Sunday: rest.
Mon – Sat
Saturday: read and reflect. Sunday: rest.
Every day
Read every day. Saturday still doubles as reflection day.
Reflection methods
Two methods. Use one or both.
Saturday is your reflection day. These are the tools for it.

When you finish
You graduate to Standard A.
When you finish Mark — the last book in the Starter plan — you don't start over. You step up. Standard A picks up exactly where Starter leaves off, adding a third stream (the rest of the Bible) without losing your momentum.
Your starting points on Standard A:
- GospelsLuke 1
- Wisdom & WorshipPsalm 23 / Proverbs 23
- ScriptureGenesis 1
