Where it fits
Standard in the system.
Standard A runs three streams. B splits Scripture into two — the same content, read every day instead of alternating.

What it is
Standard is where the full-Bible reading begins. You add a third stream — Scripture — which takes you through both the Old Testament and the New Testament letters alongside the Gospels and Psalms and Proverbs.
Standard A and Standard B cover the same ground. The difference is pace. A alternates between the OT and NT Letters on a single stream, so you cover each every other day. B splits them into two separate daily streams — more chapters, more time, more coverage.
Both are open-ended. There's no finish line — you keep reading.
Your reading streams
Choose your track.
Stream 1
Gospels
Luke → John → Matthew → Mark → loops
Picks up from Luke 1 after Starter. Loops endlessly — you are always in the Gospels.
Stream 2
Wisdom & Worship
Psalms and Proverbs, alternating daily
One day Psalms, next day Proverbs. Continuous through both books.
Stream 3
Scripture
Old Testament and NT Letters, alternating daily
One day in Genesis–Malachi, next day in Acts–Revelation. Keeps both moving without doubling the load.
The Scripture stream in Standard A alternates between the Old Testament and NT Letters day by day — so you're always in both, just not every day. It keeps both moving without adding a full extra chapter daily.
Standard B separates these into two streams, so you're reading in both every day. It's the same content, just a higher daily volume. If 30–45 minutes feels sustainable, stay on A. If you're ready for 45–60, move to B.

Move to Intensive.
When Standard starts to feel manageable — when the daily reading is no longer a discipline but a default — Intensive is the next step. It splits the Old Testament into three separate streams, giving each section of Scripture its own dedicated chapter every day.
